gccradioscience:Unauthorized Withdrawal For Membership Renewals

24 May

Company information:
Heartland America
United States

I have ordered from them before, the product worked okay, but the product is now defective. But when I was shopping somewhere else, I found out that the company took money out without my permission for membership renewal. They did not even send me an email telling me that my membership was due please renew or cancel, no, they took it out and overdrew my bank account. I had to wait about 4 days to put it back in and cancel the membership, which I don’t even need anymore since they did not leave my bank account alone. I would of trusted them, but they do things that I do not agree with such as sending things that wear out easily and go into your bank account without your permission. So buyer or newbie beware of this company if you are planning on saving money by getting their membership. Plus the membership is only recommended for frequent shoppers, once you sign up for it and the year has passed be prepared for them to withdraw $40.00 from your bank or credit card without an email
saying they were going to take money out even when you do not have money in there in the first place. If you order once, don’t get the membership!

John M. Ellsworth:Overcharged/unauthorized use of credit card

02 May

The so called “Smokeless Cigarette” was advertised as a free trial – “Only pay for shipping and handling” of $4.95
Until my bill for the next month came -Two more charges appeared on my credit card – One for $69.62 and another for $99.67! They never sent me any additional items for the “E-cigarette” such as cartridges or anything! I went back and looked on the web site and found a small box that says “click here for more information before ordering”. (I never saw this box before) It states that I COULD be charged up to $88 dollars additional if I do not call and cancel the “Subscription” within 10 days! I will refuse to pay and will stop all payment from my credit card company. TOTAL RIP OFF

equinox:Fraudulent Credit Card Charge

20 Apr

Company information:
Tactical Gun Armory
PO Box 5800
Knoxville, Tennessee
United States
Phone: 1-865-922-1831

I ordered a Sig pistol from this shady website. No warnings were given throughout the payment process that the pistol was unavailable and could not be located. My credit card was charged full price and then I received an e-mail stating that the item was “backordered.” I canceled the order but received no refund. I talked to a bitchy customer representative named Christa who gave me attitude. Hundreds of other consumers had this exact same problem with this company, unbeknownst to me. Many struggled for months for a refund of a canceled order–only a few received the refund. Hundreds of complaints about this company are filed in several better business bureaus at the state and national level. These shady assholes need to be hanged and gutted.

Thisgruntled:Credit Card Fraud

Company information:
Instrumentpro.com

They are downright fraudulent, either the company or some employees therein.

Going one step further inside the flashy blue website, one would immediately tell this is not a standard online business conduct, however one would tend to gnore major differences in security and reputation when deadline is looming or budget is shrinking.
After collecting full Credit Card and personal information for a “well stocked” item (according to their web site AND their young and suave talking sales rep), they sent a rather casual, loose-ended and un-business-like email for the purchase. the email had no business information/structure/format, and only indicated $0.00 was charged for item X. Checked with them on status of my delivery few days after, and a irritable young support assured all is going smooth (in a dude ‘tude accent).

After a week, received a concise email indicating item is out of stock and my credit card showed a charge and a refund. And in few hours credit card started racking foreign transactions from unknown entities and faker web businesses from Spain, Denmark, Russia ! Luckily I saw the flood of fraudulent activities early on, and with help of Credit company, card was blocked and canceled. This purchase was my only online transaction in that week.

My take, from now on I will keep my purchases to reputable and ethical businesses like SW, BnH, MFnd even if few dollars above the others.
